1. Data controller

TrouveTonPro is a platform that connects customers with service providers. The data controller is [à compléter] (company name, registered address, contact email).

Any question about your personal data can be sent to this contact, who will respond within one month.

2. Data we collect

Data is collected only through forms you deliberately fill in: provider search, quote request, account creation, messaging.

The categories of data processed are: identity (first and last name), contact details (email address, phone number), location (city, country), the content of your requests (service category, message), and browsing data (pages viewed, referral source).

No special-category data under the GDPR (health, political opinions, religious beliefs, trade union membership, biometric data) is collected, requested or processed.

3. Purposes and legal bases

Purpose 1 — Responding to a quote or contact request: performance of pre-contractual measures at your request (GDPR art. 6.1.b).

Purpose 2 — Creating and managing your account and connecting you with providers: performance of the contract (GDPR art. 6.1.b).

Purpose 3 — Helping a provider answer a request in their service area: legitimate interest of the provider in receiving requests pertaining to their area (GDPR art. 6.1.f).

Purpose 4 — Securing the service and preventing fraud: legitimate interest of TrouveTonPro (GDPR art. 6.1.f).

Purpose 5 — Sending technical messages and reminders linked to an account: performance of the contract (GDPR art. 6.1.b).

Purpose 6 — Measuring traffic and improving the service: consent, revocable at any time (GDPR art. 6.1.a). This processing is only activated after acceptance.

4. Recipients

Quote request data is passed to the provider concerned by the request, as well as to providers in the category and city you selected, so they can respond to you.

Your data is neither sold, nor rented, nor transferred to third parties for commercial purposes.

A limited number of subprocessors access limited data, solely to operate the platform: website hosting, transactional email delivery, payment gateway. Each is bound by a contract compliant with GDPR art. 28.

5. Retention periods

User account: data is kept for the lifetime of the account, then deleted or anonymised within 30 days of closure.

Quote requests and messages: kept for 3 years from the last exchange with you, the statutory limitation period for payment claims.

Audience measurement cookies: 13 months maximum.

Login logs and security data: 1 year.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your personal data, as well as the right to issue directives on what happens to it after your death.

You can exercise these rights by email to the contact listed in section 1. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

Account deletion is available directly from your account settings, without justification.

7. Security

Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text. Connections to the site are encrypted over HTTPS.

No system being infallible, we cannot guarantee absolute security; in the event of a data breach affecting your rights, we will inform you within 72 hours.

8. Minors

The platform is intended for adults and for minors acting with the agreement of their legal representative. We do not knowingly collect data from minors under 15.
